| superdoppler | When I first bought my Prowler, it was an awesome handling car, but lately the steering has left very loose...I definitely wouldn't win any cone challenges. Has anyone experienced the same problem? |
| BeWare | Sounds like you have a problem to me. I would get it checked out very soon. We have 33,000 miles so far and no change in steering or handling. |

| MDProwler | I had my front end apart last winter and after putting it back together and having a four wheel alignment I am experiencing the same problem. The exotic car repair hop that mounted my tires recommended a shop that will tweak it to handle correctly as the factory settings are not always sufficient for proper handling. I need to take the drivers side apart again so I have not gone to him yet. I will post in a few months when i get it done. Someone into race cars may be who you need to find. |
| dbudner | I had an issue when I first bought mine where it handled pretty loose. It turned out to be a loose bolt near the shock tower that held the front of the upper a-arm on. | quincy | I recall that the Great Obi-Wan (Scott) has some front end settings for camber and caster that are superior to the factory settings. He might chime in with them! |

| quincy | Just thought of another helpful tip. If you have your bumpers off, you can install a upper frame brace which really tightens up the front end. Several different types are availiable. Do a search on our site for more info. |

Left - 3.00
Right - 3.32
Camber
Left and Right - 0
Toe In
Left - +1/32
Right - +1/32
Rear
Camber
Right and Left -1/4
Toe In
Right and Left 1/32 Toe In

| Paul B | Ed,I just finished a new chrome front end and am waiting for the weather to break to take it for an alignment. Ill let you know what my numbers are after its done, we've been getting pounded with snow here lately.

We had more snow yesterday and the temps have been cold. Supposed to get to the 50s on Tue or Wed but then we need to get rid of the salt before I can take it in. It might be awhile. I should have done it in Dec. or Jan. when it was warmer than AZ. lol |

I had my front end checked last year at the Chrysler dealership. It was a tad out, but the technician told me that the turn signal replacement kit was in the way of some adjusting bolts/nuts. I passed on the alignment because the car is tracking straight and true. If you are going to have the front aligned, remove the kit first (if you have one) to save $ and keep someone from breaking them. |

| padroo | It used to be when I started driving that if you got new tires you had your front end alignment done but I say if your old tires are wearing good leave it alone. The old saying says "If it ain't broke, don't fix it". Handling problems are a different story. |
